Children

Meriden Evangelical Free Church offers Sunday School classes for age groups 3 through high school.  The classes are taught by a dedicated and loving group of adult volunteers who take the time and make the committment to invest in the lives of children.  Through the leading of the Sunday School Superintendent, Pastors & Deacons, the Sunday School curriculum is designed to challenge, inspire and help the children grow in their knowledge and love of Jesus Christ.  Nursery service is provided for children ages    0-2 during Sunday School.

Sundays - Weekly
9:30 a.m. - 10:20 a.m.

The nursery was a recent part of our new east addition.  It contains separate areas for newborns and toddlers.  A bathroom specific to this age group is also located in the nursery.  A volunteer staff of dedicated adults and teenagers staff the nursery weekly.  Parents can rest assured that their children are being taken care of by trusthworthy, loving people.  The nursery is available during the Sunday School hour and during church services and most special events.  Pagers are available for parents to take into the service with them so that they can be summoned to the nursery should the need arise.

Children's Church is a ministry led by adult volunteers with help from teenagers.  During the Sunday worship service, children ages 4 - kindergarten are dismissed from the service to attend Children's Church.  While at Children's Church, the kids hear a Bible Story, do a craft, have a snack and play games.  It's a great ministry to the parents of this age group

Area 56 is a program where 5th & 6th grade students have organized events with the youth group in an effort to introduce them to the youth group and Youth Pastor/Adult volunteers.
